Author and entrepreneur Kay Richardson designed her business to help other women entrepreneurs become more successful.  She’s in a way paying it forward from the encouragement she received when she was young.  Homeless at 17, pregnant at 18 and on welfare at 19, Kay struggled to make ends meet and also fulfill her desire to get an education.  She later had to make a tough decision and had her toddler son live full-time with his father so that she can attend college.  Later having suffered through a divorce, Kay has emerged a successful businessperson.
